[Wadabo_updates] Drumming in the summer!

Dear African dance & drum community,

Drum Connection in the summer:
Hello Drummers!

A few reminders and new stuff too...

Well, the master, Famoudou Konate is here in Boston with us now! We're
getting ready for a full week of workshops starting Tuesday, May 29th.
Tuesday still has about 2 or 3 spaces in it and the rest is SOLD OUT. If you
are interested in an easy introduction into the music of the djembe and
dunun of the Malinke people of Guinea, this is an opportunity NOT to be
missed. Pre-Registration required. Call me at 617-686-6080 NOW to secure a
space in Tuesday.

All DrumConnection upper level classes are postponed for this week and will
start up the week of June 4th!

If you are new to drumming or been away from the drum for a while, check out
our line up of NEW classes starting soon! The Summer is a GREAT time to
drum, as you know. For Summer Semester Drum Classes, please go here:

I'll see most of you at the workshops and in our classes next week.

In rhythm spirit...
PS – Mamady Keita joins us at the end of June for 4 days of fantastic drumming workshops-still a few spots left.
Mamady Keita:

And watch for our new Cuban Conga Classes starting soon! Posted to our site in a while....

"Listening to Famoudou Konate, live or on CD, will make you a better drummer."
