[Wadabo_updates] Re: Participants Needed for Instructional Video Series on African, Brazilian, and West Indian Dance & Capoeira; Compensation Provided

Hello,

Equilibrio Films, LLC is seeking dancers and Capoeiristas to participate in an instructional video project for the largest "how to" internet database in the world. We are searching for volunteers to create tutorials that cover all types of movement oriented dance and performance art. Instructional series can range from introductions for beginners to more advanced lessons; all skill levels are needed. We are especially looking for people with experience in the following traditions:

·         Traditional and modern African dance (all types)

·         Caribbean/West Indian dance

·         Brazilian dance styles including Batuque, Samba Endredo, Fevo, Carimbo, Congada, Cordoes, Choro, Maracatu, Modinha, Pastoris

·         Capoeira Angola, Capoeira Regional, & Capoeira Contemporânea

Previous on-camera experience is not required, but it is important that participants feel comfortable speaking clearly and directly to a camera.  Compensation for this project can range between $120 minimum per day and shoots usually last between 4-6 hours. One added benefit of participating in this project is the ability to embed/link the finished video to a personal or business related website. Our shooting schedules are flexible but we are looking particularly for people who are willing to do multiple shoots. Please feel free to share this information freely. If you feel you may be interested in this project please contact me for more information at (413) 367-0093 or send me an email at hans@equilibriofilms.com.

Thanks,

Hans Harmsen
