[Wadabo_updates] Classes w/ Bada Seck & Group Saloum show Friday

Dear African Dance & Drum Community,

BADA SECK,
the legendary sabar drummer for Baaba Maal,

will be teaching two sabar drum workshops THIS WEEK

at the MIT world music room ( 265 mass ave, cambridge). 
classes are $15 each

7/26  THURSDAY 8-9:30pm (after lamine's dance class)
7/27  FRIDAY 6:30-8 (before group saloum plays at the Lizard Lounge- below)


Bada is one of the founding members of Baaba Maal's band, and a leading sabar percussionist from his generation.  He has been on an extended stay in the U.S. teaching classes in California, but will be returning to Senegal soon. Don't miss this rare opportunity to study w/ Bada Seck!
