Thank you to everyone who came out last Saturday to Fatou N'Diaye's class 

to support the first of Abdoulaye Sylla's classes!

This is a reminder that Abdoulaye Sylla will be teaching a series of Sister Fatou N'Diaye's classes while she is still recovering. Come and enjoy the dances of Guinea, West Africa, a somewhat rare opportunity in Boston.

Also, we are fortunate to have Kissema Dioubate visiting the N'Diaye family in the next week all the way from Germany!! Originally from Dakar, Senegal, Kissema is a former member of the Senegalese national dance company, Ballet La Linguire. Kissema has taught in Boston on many occasions to rave reviews. Don't miss out!

Saturday, September 23rd at 4:30pm, $12

Abdoulaye Sylla was a principal dancer and percussionist with Les Ballets Africains, the national dance troupe of the Republic of Guinea, from 1989 to 1994 and a principal dancer, percussionist, and the director of technique for Les Merveilles D'Afrique, a private folkloric troupe which trains dancers for the national company, from 1986 through 1994. He has performed, toured, and taught traditional dance throughout Africa, Europe, and the United States. His US-based troupe, Fotoba, appeared recently at the benefit concert for Sister Fatou in August with a performance that received rave reviews. Fatou extends her thanks to Abdoulaye for his continued energy and support!
