[Wadabo_updates] Please help Derrick Davis - Benefit Dance Party 3/29!

Dear African Dance Community,

Our friend, teacher, and fellow dancer, Derrick Davis needs our help as he is on the road to recovery from his on-going battle with cancer. Many of us love and work with Derrick - for those of you who are not familiar with his work, he teaches the hot Hip Hop class on Wednesday evenings at the Dance Complex, during Seydou's African class. He has been unable to work for the past month due to complications with his condition; although he is now home from the hospital, he is not able to dance, therefore not able to teach & work!

The Dance Complex is hosting a BENEFIT DANCE PARTY to celebrate and support Derrick. There will be LIVE DANCE PERFORMANCES OF HIP HOP, WEST AFRICAN, BURLESQUE, AND MORE by local & visiting artists. Please come out and support him with your show of love and your donation:
