Jean Appolon is traveling to Haiti on June 29th and won't be back until September 6th & 7th!! His last Modern class was last weekend and his last Haitian class will be this Saturday.

2 - AFRO-JAZZ REPERTORY SERIES - STARTS THIS TUESDAY:

A Performance Workshop with Marianne Harkless

This workshop is designed for students who are interested in preparing a dance piece for performance. This is an opportunity to work on one piece of choreography and take is further than is normally done in class.  The entire class will be spent working on choreography. Afro-Jazz incorporates elements of West African, Afro-Brazilian, Caribbean, modern and jazz dance styles. We will work closely with the music to explore different rhythms and how to bring out accents in the movement. Please arrive warmed up and ready to dance. Fee for entire series and performance is $96.00.
