p.s. - Deraldo and the Brazilian Center won!! Details below from the
good folks at the BCCNE:
Dear Friends,
We are happy to announce that the Brazilian Cultural Center of New
England has been granted the necessary approval from the City of
Cambridge Zoning Board to go forth (continue) with the construction
project started last winter. Deraldo had a lawyer with him who made a
very strong argument for the Center. Even more impressive was the
support from students, fans and members of the community. When the
Board asked who in the room was in favor of the project about 3/4 of
those present threw their hands in the air.
THANK YOU for your support!
We are looking very much forward to hosting you at the new and improved
Center when it is open!
