About Samba Lolo:

Samba Lolo featuring Boubacar Diabate, West African Griot Music from Mali, combined traditional rhythms with modern influences to create a unique style of contemporary Malian Griot music. Singing in Bambara, Boubacar and Samba Lolo create a performance that spans the full spectrum of Traditional to Contemporary Malian music. Bouba sings of a common shared experience of love, life and humanity, giving all an opportunity to hear the age-old West African tradition of Griot storytelling through song intermingled with the musicals accents of Jazz n' Blues and Reggae.
