KEEP IT MOVING

A Rhythm and Movement

Dance Class 

for

Baby Boomers

and 

for anyone else who, would like to

live more fully in their bodies

aligning with breath, ground and center

enjoy the health benefits of exercising

great stretches, core strengthening, light aerobic movement

and relish in the joy of dancing

 to

the rhythmically stressed sounds

of

 Rock, Soul, R+B, Caribbean and African Fusion music

 in a safe, low impact, any body friendly environment.

 

                                Tuesdays, 6 - 7:30 pm               Begins September 14, 2010 

                                       At the YWCA Cambridge, Central Sq. Cambridge

                                        1st Fall Session: September 14 thru October 12   : $65.                Single class  $15

Instructor

 Fatou-Carol Sylla holds an M.S.P.H. in Health Education, M.A. in Dance from Lesley University and Massachusetts Teaching Certification K-12 in both Dance and Health.  She has been a dance teacher, performer and choreographer for the past 35 years. She currently teaches at the Dance Complex and VSA arts of Massachusetts, leads a summer studies abroad program, Dance, Music and Culture in Senegal, West Africa, that is accredited through Lesley University, and leads Moving Into Authenticity, movement and healing workshops, in the Boston area. She is also a Baby Boomer.
