ABOUT US : Beat Tree is a diverse collective of dancers, choreographers, musicians and spoken word artists. We acknowledge African dance as the mother of all dance and want to create a new movement vocabulary that incorporates elements of contemporary and traditional dance styles. Our choreography speaks directly to our cultural history and our immediate experiences.
